This is the best time of the year of Bodrum, when all the tourists leave and the summer vacationers leave, and we can have our town back!
Presently I am way too busy with my small scale "animal/dog shelter", it is a private/personal place, I call it shelter because it is becoming one apparently! I have 7 dogs and 1 cat living in 6 different sections of my home and yard!
The first entrance where I park my car became Ivan's quarters, he has his own separate doghouse which was Macho's earlier (the doghouse is a gift from a friend Yasare) and Macho instead moved in to the 3rd section of the front yard! He sometimes shares the yard for playtime with Lady, Lara and Panda and has a larger doghouse he sometimes also shares with whoever wants to?!.
The 2nd section usually is left to whoever wants some privacy! That is also my pedestrian entry to the yard towards my house.
The 4th level is for the older members of the pack: Panda, Lady, Lara and Dharma. They also have 2 big and a smaller doghouses. When I say older I mean seniority wise and age wise, since I lost 2 of my older dogs just this summer Bidik and Sari; they were the 2 oldest dogs I had: they were 14 and 12 years old, and they passed about a month apart from each other, Bidik left us first on the 18th of May same date as my mother's passing 36 years ago and Sari on July 2nd!
So now the oldest of the pack is Panda then comes Teri, Lady, Lara and maybe Ivan and then Dharma, and the youngest must be Macho!
So the 3 girls Panda, Lady and Lara share the front yard with Dharma (male and blind member of our pack) and Teri, the toy poodle dumped on the street at the ripe old age of 8-9 lives close by the house!
And the cat Kedi lives in & out but she is terrified of Ivan who keeps scaring her every time he sgets a glimpse of her!
I donit know how I'm gonna teach him to stand down because she was a member of this pack waaay before him!
Well it's about that time of the evening when my kids are getting anxious hearing all the dinner time commotion coming from down below at İDA dog farm?!
So I should get theirs ready also.
