Short Story of my Life

I was born on a Sunday when the church bells were ringing; that's how we figured out the time of my birth actually@13:15, in Alsancak Izmir, so says my mother's aunt Nihal, January 3rd 1960 to a family of 4 as the last comer. I wasn't supposed to "be", but with the hopes that I might be a boy, with a little persuasion from my dad, my mom agreed to keep me: alas there I was, a third girl. Previous girls were already Nilgun 6 and Nesli 4 years old. Basically what I remember from my childhood is all good memories, I don't remember much of Izmir but after the move to Istanbul I have bits & pieces of mind photos : our summer house in Erenköy the first dog we had that I remember: Ivy was her name black silky short haired beautiful hound... We weren't supposed to let her into the house let alone to our room, but some afternoons while we were supposed to take naps we would open the window, dangle the piano's stool outside and climb down either go play ou...
